      ...on the journey to obtain a Class 3 license!

      I have some questions as i have absolutely no idea how to go about:

      1) I enrolled at SSDC for my BTT before i found CDC which is nearer to me. Can i get my BTT done at SSDC then continue to FTT at CDC? Main point is, are the BTT & FTT universal?

      2) I don't have too much cash as i'm still a student. Is it advisable to do BTT & FTT at driving schools then proceed to private instructors for practical lessons?

      3) How long, on average, does one take to get a driving license?

      I'm planning on getting my DL asap, do you think 3 months is possible?

      1. BTT & FTT is universal in sg. im private student at SSDC for BTT and FTT, the instructor from CDC private student.

      2. for me about $39 per lesson on road depend on instructor charges. is up to u.

       

      3. about 6mths from btt date, for my friend. he spent about $1900

       

       

      cdc ealist test date for private student is late oct liao

      1) It depends on what package you got for yourself at SSDC, if you only enrol strictly for BTT and FTT at SSDC, then you can just complete your BTT and FTT at SSDC.

      2) Yes, you can complete your BTT and FTT at a driving school and look for a private instructor for practical lesson and go back to school for TP final test.

      3) On average, it takes about 4-6 months to get a driving licence. 3 months is rather impossible, unless you always keep a lookout for people who cancel their BTT and FTT and TP final test date booking and get their earlier date. But all these is about luck.
